If something isn't working or you can't find an answer below, email hello@clipppy.com. A real person reads everything that comes in. Including what you were doing when it broke, and which browser you were using, gets you a useful answer much faster.

Saving clips

Inside Clipppy you can paste a link into the bar at the top of a collection, drop files anywhere on the page, or paste an image straight from your clipboard. Links get a title, description, and preview image automatically.

To save things while you're browsing elsewhere, there are a few options:

• The browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave, and Firefox. Saves the page you're on, a link, an image, or highlighted text.
• The bookmarklet, if you'd rather not install an extension. Drag it to your bookmarks bar from the Tools page in the app.
• Your phone's share sheet on Android, once you've installed Clipppy from your browser's menu.
• A personal API token, for iOS Shortcuts, scripts, or anything else that can make a web request. Create one on the Tools page.

The browser extension

Download it from the Tools page in the app, then follow the install steps included with it. You'll need to be signed in to Clipppy in the same browser — the extension rides the session you already have, and never handles your password.

The extension also has an optional image-hover button, which puts a small “Clip it” button on images as you point at them. It's off until you turn it on in the extension's options, because it needs permission to run on the sites you visit.

If saves suddenly stop working, the usual cause is being signed out. Open Clipppy in the same browser, sign in, and try again.

Importing and exporting

You can bulk-import a Pinterest data export from the Tools page — request the archive from Pinterest under Settings, Privacy and data, then upload the ZIP. Your boards and sections come across as collections and folders.

Any collection can be exported from its own page as a ZIP (files plus a browsable offline copy), a bookmarks HTML file that every browser can import, or a CSV. There's also a Figma plugin that turns a collection into a moodboard on the canvas.

Your account and your data

Account settings — changing your password or email address, exporting everything you've saved, and deleting your account — live in the app under your profile menu.

Deleting your account removes your collections and the files you uploaded. It can't be undone, so export your data first if you want to keep a copy.

Forgotten password? Use the reset link on the sign-in page. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before writing in.

Plans and billing

Free includes 500 MB of file storage, unlimited collections, links and notes, bulk Pinterest imports, personal API access, and sharing with up to two guests. Plus is $10 per month or $84 per year and includes 50 GB of file storage and unlimited workspace guests.

You can manage or cancel Plus from the billing portal in your account settings. A cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for refund instructions.

Privacy and terms

Clipppy is a private workspace: there's no public feed, no advertising, and your collections are visible only to you and the people you share them with. The Privacy Policy covers what's collected and why, and the Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy cover the rest.

Both go to the same place: hello@clipppy.com. Clipppy is early and actively being built, so feature requests genuinely do shape what gets made next.
