Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Clipppy (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Clipppy.

1. The Service

Clipppy is a private visual workspace for collecting and organizing links, images, files, video, and notes into collections you can keep to yourself or share with people you invite. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You need an account to use most of Clipppy. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Clipppy.

3. Your content

You keep all ownership of the content you save to Clipppy. To operate the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and back up your content solely to provide the Service to you and the people you share with. We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't sell it.

You're responsible for the content you save, and you represent that you have the right to save and share it. Because Clipppy lets you capture material from around the web, only save content you own or are permitted to store.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clipppy to:

• store or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the rights to;
• violate someone else's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
• upload malware, or attempt to breach, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• abuse the automated capture tools (extension, API, share targets) to scrape or harvest at scale;
• resell or redistribute the Service without our permission.

5. Copyright & takedown

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on Clipppy infringes your copyright, email us at hello@clipppy.comwith a description of the work, the location of the material, and your contact information. We will review and remove infringing material where appropriate and may disable repeat infringers' accounts.

6. Plans & payment

Clipppy offers a Free plan and a Plus subscription. Plus is listed at $10 per month or $84 per year. The price and billing period are shown again before checkout, and applicable taxes may be added based on your location.

Paid orders are processed by our authorized reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for those orders and handles payment processing, receipts, tax, returns, and order-related support. Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you choose until canceled.

You can cancel Plus from the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep Plus access until then. Refund eligibility and instructions are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

7. Termination

You can stop using Clipppy at any time and delete your account from your profile settings, which removes your collections and uploaded files. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure for us or other users.

8. Disclaimers

Clipppy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be preserved. Keep your own copies of anything important — Clipppy offers a data export for this purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clipppy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Clipppy after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
